We're Getting Married!

A - Accomodation. New Lanark Mill Hotel has 38 rooms and some have been pre-booked for our wedding - please mention our wedding when you call.

B - Bridemaids. 2 Bridesmaids Diane and Karen and 2 flowergirls Laura and Katie

C - Children - Children are welcome to come to the wedding if you wish - just let us know.

D - Dinner - Menu will be out with the invites and posted on the site (yes we are going to feed you all .

E - Evening reception - Dancing the night away with the Scooby Snax from Glasgow and some disco music in between.

F - Flowers:- Pale pink and ivory roses for the bridesmaids, Deep Pink Orchids and Pale pink fressia for me (see planning pics).

G - Good time - Sure we will all have one

H - Happiest Day of our lives

J - Jewellery - I am wearing my mum's pearls

K - Kilts - all or male wedding party will be in them - steady girls

L - Love - the reason for all things

M - Marriage Vows

N - Name - Can't wait to be Mrs Ward

O - Owen - as in Robert Owen the man responsible for the Utopian Society at New Lanark.

P - Photographs - as well as the official ones we will have disposables on the table to capture those moments we might miss.

Q - Quiet - somehow I think not

R - Rain - though we pray it will not rain on the day we wont let it spoil anything.

S - Scooby Snax - our fab wedding band

T - Transport - Buses to and from the venue will be provided from Edinburgh and Glasgow (see Transport)

U - Us - well there wouldnt be a wedding without us would there ?

V - Venue - New Lanark is a magical place and we hope you will love it too.

W - Wedding. Its going to be the best day ever.
